You need a really strong product to remove that odor. ODORZOUT is a 100 percent natural product with no odor of its own and it can be used wet or dry. It doesn't cover up odors it actually absorbs them, To use it dry, sprinkle it right on the clothing and let them sit for several hours. Intense odors, like your diesel fuel, can be treated for several days with no harm to the fabric. You have to make certain that you allow air to circulate because the ODORZOUT doesn't work in enclosed spaces. To use wet, fill the washer and add 1-2 teaspoons of ODORZOUT, allow the machine to agitate for a minute or so, add the clothing and the detergent. Launder as usual.

You can also try adding 2/3 of a cup of Borax to your laundry load and letting it soak for a few hours before laundering. Borax can remove most odors and is a little easier to find.

Sometimes adding a 1/4 cup of Simple Green to your wash will rid your clothes of undesirable smells. A cup of white vinegar is good, too.

The scent of diesel could desire to come out in case you soak it in rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol. The molecules that make it scent like diesel could desire to bond to the alcohol and come out of it. in spite of the actuality that the final time I had this issues we wiped sparkling it in gas then alcohol. gas to get the diesel scent out then alcohol to get the gas scent out.
