How do I get rid of it? I have noticed this for 2 years, but since it has been there so long, I am worried about it.

Fungus will have a tell tale foul odour. Have you any debris under the nail (a sort of yellowy/white substance)
You say this has been with you for 2 years - usually, if unchecked a fungus will spread and can affect adjoining nails, so may not be anything fungal.
Prevention is better than cure - you could try a home remedy (vinegar Oregnao Oil or tea tree oil)
This is cost effective solution that is completley harmless

It is a fungus. I had the same problem it is from wearing nail polish to ling it just needs air. Let it grow out but be careful because it will start to peal/ crack.

Your best choice is to see a podiatrist. If you have had this for two years, it is probably some sort of fungus.

the in reality distinction is the label. there is not any distinction contained in the easily product, agencies only favor to wring as a lot funds out of you as they can. you should use nail varnish/polish on your feet and toe polish on your hands.
