That whoever wants to stand for pondlife (which I do) should make the guilty ones pay instead of the innocent? Would it not be better to complain to "wrongful violations" as requested by Pondlife ????????????? (your giving it to the wrong people at the moment).

...yes...the repeated q's are prob playing into the snivellers hands...we should all complain directly to yahoo about the wrongful and victimising reports...the more complaints...the more likely yahoo will do something about it...! Keep the pressure up!!

Sammy, you say you should get points deducted if someone reports you. What this protest is about, is the number of pointless violations people receive. Some people, like Pondlife, seem to have made "enemies" (sorry, couldn't think of a better word) out of certain users who now go looking for their questions and answers and report them with no valid reasons. And those nice people in Yahoo Towers don't check to see if the reported abuse is valid; they just issue a violation, followed by an account suspension. How can that be fair? Think about it!

Whenever, i complain, they never e-mail back, which is very rude. I'm all for pondlife. There should be an enquiry, in to why he had so many violations.

I agree...................think I shall offer my services as a violation officer! Seriously though, it does bet the question, do they actually look into the questions or is it all done automatically.

There are diary groups and such like that will not take outsiders answers, there is restrictions, and until Yahoo actually runs Q & A on this line, then the numbnuts will keep on going. Its what they do. They have no LIFE themselves, so think,, lets wreck everyone elses!

I really think you should only get a violation if you are openly racist, offensive etc. I know they say banter isnt valid, but everyone does it, it makes the world go around. I got a violation for sod all, my bloke has had several, but complaints to yahoo have led to nothing. What else can we do about it?
