With humans, it's not always about advantage. I think this is probably just the skull shape that was predominant and was passed down, no more significant reason.

Hi. Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, different cultures are attracted to various features. I find most Eastern features to be delicate. This may have some procreational advantage where this is desirable. Just my opinion.

Chinesse are not the only ones with thoses characteristic sand not all chinesse have it. It is basically a mark of beauty the flatter the face the more beautifull the woman is.
