Premenstrual symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are extremely similar. ( Ex: tender breasts, nausea, PMS, etc.) So, you can't predict pregnancy from those symptoms alone. Your period will start around two weeks after you ovulate. (Depending on how long your luteal phase is-- the time between ovulation and your next period.) Not all women ovulate on the same day (average day is 14). Stress CAN NOT delay your period. It can only delay your ovulation. So, if you ovulated later than you normally do, then your period will arrive later as well. You will know that you are fertile when your cervical fluid has a consistency of eggwhites. (It is actually called EWCM for egg white cervical mucous). The only way to be certain if you are pregnant or not is to take a pregnancy test. HCG is the hormone that pregnacy tests look for to determine pregnancy. The lower the number on the box is (Ex: 50ml) the more sensitive the test is. Which means it requires less HCG in your urine to detect pregnancy. Most tests are sensitive enough to detect pregnacy on the first day of your missed period. There are lots of websites with this info, here's just a couple:

pmt is just like pregnancy symptoms, I am not saying you are pregnant but you cant rule it out. If I were you then I would go to tesco and get a hpt (or anywhere that is open and sells them in your area) and do one in the morning as this is the best pee to use (more concentrated). If this is negative then you should wait a few days and if you still don't come on then do the same again. Alternatively you can submit a test at the doctors and see what that says.
Good luck hun!

The presence or absence of PMT is not an accurate way to diagnose pregnancy.
If your period doesn't come get a test and find out.
I hope it says what you want.

Oh the PMT reins supreme in my world of pregnancy. I'd say I'm bordering on loopy. Do a test. It's the only way you'll know.

If you have pregnancy on your mind either wanting to be or not, then it can play awful tricks on your mind and you think you are, so you are either waiting for your period or you don't want it too, this happened to me when wanted to be pregnant, and my period started a week late.

you can be pregnant, I found that the symptoms of my period being were the same symptons of being pregnant, but with the added thing of knowing in my head I was pregnant even though I hadn't done a test.
Take a test if you really want to know

Wait until tomm to start worrying then wait another few days to test(liek when your period would end) and if you have any bleeding at all, spotting etc, wait til it stops to take a test. You could just be having a weird period, I didn't cramp at all last period, went to the dr they said no not prego.

If you worry about it this can delay your period, I have been in the same position before. If you forget about it you will come on. To put your mind at rest I would get a test, especially if you have had unprotected sex.
