I was told not to be too cautious when I was pregnant. There are things you can and can't do, but don't put yourself in a bubble. :) Depending on how far along you are, if you take hot baths make sure you don't use bubble bath or bath salts. If you have lost your plug, the soaps and salts can cause you to get an infection. But that is closer to your due date. Don't lift furniture, move furniture, or carry objects that weigh more than 30-40 pounds. You can take walks and jogs, but don't get on a treadmill for like 20 minutes going full speed. Walks are your best bet there. Also, don't drink a lot of caffeine. It can hurt the baby, and something funny, it will give the baby lots of energy so you will never get any rest. I used to drink coffee and some caffeinated sodas and my baby girl would kick the hell out of me at night. If you are a big soda and coffee drinker, try to limit yourself to one a day or only drink it 2-3 times a week. Don't take any medications other than Dr. prescribed and Tylenol.
Otherwise, try to do the things you normally do without the stress and strain. Relax as much as possible and don't be afraid to ask for help.

The good is moderate exercise everyday like walking, drinking lots of water, eating better than you ever have and getting regular pre natal check ups.
The bad is smoking, drinking alcohol, limiting caffeine as much as possible, fish with too much mercury and abusive actions from yourself or others.
