i am 16 and i have never been kissed by a guy! all of my friends have boyfriends and are having sex but i feel like i am so inexperienced.. which is true. is this normal and is there hope!?? and its not like i am ugly or anything, but i guess i have never really met a guy who has liked me like that...

I almost have to laugh reading this--not because I find your situation to be "abnormal", far from it, but because I was in the exact same situation.
My first kiss wasn't even someone who liked me. It was out of sheer boredom and I wanted my first kiss out of the way. My first boyfriend wasn't until I was 17 years old, and the relationship only lasted three months. I had never done much with guys before that--I had made out (again out of boredom) but that's about it, and it is very intimidating to feel so inexperienced compared to those around you. But you have to do only the things you are comfortable with.
I was never really "liked" by guys, either, to be honest. Perhaps what you need to do is go out and meet new people--get a job if you don't already have one (work is where I met my first boyfriend), join a local activity/club...whatever it takes. Eventually you'll find someone you like that likes you too, and it'll work. Just move at your own pace once that happens. These types of things aren't about keeping up with your friends, anyway, even though it may seem like it sometimes.

You still have lots of time in your life. It is normal, so do not worry about it. Amazingly that teenagers put so much pressure on themselves to be like your friends and put more pressure on yourselves if you are not like your friends. I realize it is a tough time in anyone's life to stand out, but everyone is different and unique. That is the best part about it. You do not need to be having sex at this age, nor does it make you a bad person if you do. You do not have to be kissing everyone, nor does it make you bad if you do. You will meet someone who will like you in that way and just enjoy everything along the way. Please do not try to be like anyone else, just be like yourself, and of course there is hope.

Don't feel bad. I'm much older and have still never been kissed or in any relationship. But like others have suggested I guess the only thing you can do is be patient.

It's fairly normal to not have sex or "sexual contact" until you're older. When you find that special person, it should not matter to them if you have alot of experience or none.
My personnel feeling is that kids rush into sex to early. It is a really fun activity but much better when combined with a loving relationship.

To be kissed by promiscuous guys is worse than never being kissed at all.
Me? I was heart-broken after I dated a girl for 4 years then had her lie to me & leave me?
I wanted to get married! Don't give up. Mean people exist.

Its normal. No need to rush something like that . Many of those girls are just kissing just to say they are and they probably don't even like the boy. Wait for that special one --it will mean much more. Just be patient he will find you one day soon.I think out of all of your friends you are the smart one, just keep it that way!

I didn't have my first kiss til I was almost 18...don't worry too much about it...now guys kiss me all the time (and then some :) )

16 can be an awkward age. I know it's tough, but don't worry about what everyone else is or isn't doing.

Your friends are bad girls. Save yourself for somebody who is worthy of your affections. Most guys just want a girl they can "do it" with; they are not good enough for you.
