I do not want a relation to try and visit my house for certain reasons, would it be possible to prevent this with an injunction/restraining order? I am in the UK.

I dont see any reason why you couldn`t get one ,and its very easy to get one .All you need to do is go to the solicitors tell him/her why you want it then they put whatever in writing then you swear an affidavit at with a second solicitor and they do everything after that
i don`t think violence has to be involved to get an injunction because there are different ones .With/without power of arrest and then theres the ones where the person is not allowed to be within a certain distance from you and so on

It isnt possible to prevent it totally with an injunction - its just that with an injunction, if they turn up they can be prosecuted/arrested. However an injunction is meant as a deterrent so they may stay away. If there are good grounds for an injuntion eg violence, theft, abuse etc then it should be easy to get one.
