yeh isnt it weird we never put our foot touching the stairs we always walk on ours toes to get up the stairs

By definition when I walk, I don't run.

But to answer the question you didn't ask. I don't run up stairs anymore. At 59 with leg problems caused by diabetes I just can't. When I was younger, absolutely. I was up on my toes and running two steps at a time when the stairs were clear.

At my age, I don't run up the stairs, I grab the hand rail with one hand and take one step at a time.
