NO!

Having criminals sneaking into our country by the MILLIONS is NOT a good thing. No other country on EARTH would permit this type of invasion.

They cost this country BILLIONS in healthcare, education and incarceration.

Look at the state of CA, they are nearly bankrupt because of illegals. Illegals occupy 95% of the prison space in LA county.

If Open Borders is such a good thing, why does most of the rest of the world put controls on their borders?

Do they know something that we have yet to learn?

Up until the last 20 years, we managed to live without an invasion of people crossing over and grabbing the benefits our country offers, benefits that our government set up for our citizens not for the rest of the world.

Is this the kind of thing that the rest of the world has learned, and the reason they control their borders?

Obviously we cannot support the rest of the world's poor and impoverished people. And if we provide that care, those other countries will not have to provide it themselves.

Why can't Mexico and South America construct a government that will utilize the abilities of their people to overcome the social and financial problems they have/

Maybe they feel it is not necessary since Uncle Sam will gladly absorb their problems and feed their poor.

Are we creating that condition by offering to help?

I m slightly puzzled on the comments here. If the youngsters are crossing the border each and on a daily basis then they have a sort of enable to be(or a minimum of flow legally) interior the U.S. that should indicate they don't look to be illegally getting into, perfect? So the unlawful action being finished is that the newborn is attending public American guidance, not the crossing of the border. The border cities could desire to do something to extra advantageous help those college structures, and reform our guidance device in a manner that reward u.s.. As someone with conservative perspectives, i think of regulations could nicely be commonly used with out the excellent watch of the federal government. As a Christian it somewhat is largely a tragic situation harmless babies are caught in. I actual have heard of pals from Montana asserting Canadians declare residency status interior the U.S. with a view to attend our Universities, yet they stay in Canada. this could nicely be a situation that desires extra interest and one that is of great value.

I believe you should tell the story of injustices, of inequalities, of bad conditions, so that the people as a whole in this country really face the problems that people who are pushed to the point of striking know all about, but others know practically nothing about opening borders to Mexico would solve our indifferences towards the so-called Illegal Aliens.

It means more destitute people without health insurance coming here.

I am against taxpayer-funded benefits for them - just like I'm against almost all taxpayer-funded benefits. But that's not a reason to stop them from coming, just a reason to eliminate the benefits.

But another result is that the number of poor people in the US will climb, as will the number of people without health insurance.

And because the Census Bureau surveys include all people within the US borders, Leftists will take the survey results and claim that there are "more poor Americans" and "millions more Americans without health insurance."

If people would be honest and say that there are more poor Mexicans without health insurance living in America, then I'd be happy.

I would like to hear how opens borders would benefit the U.S. Bringing in more drugs, increasing our crime rate, taking jobs for citizens, having U.S. citizens paying taxes to support those who send their monies back to Mexico, who use our health care system, school system, judicial system, fill our prisons, increase gangs, etc. Take, take, take, we pay all the costs and get nothing in return but further demands for rights that belong to U.S. citizens.

That's absurd. The borders are open right now and it is as unstable as ever. Liberals want regulated borders while Conservatives want to build bigger walls that can still be climbed. What makes more sense? Real action or empty action?

Not at present. Until Americans can actually own land in Mexico, and Mexico adopts changes to its own polticial system, it'll be difficult.

Eventually, this might make sense.

Only if we are destined to follow the old Roman empire into decay from within...

This is a fast track for collapse of the American Empire, known as the USA.

I use the term 'empire' in relation to this country having more and more 'culture diversity' in which more nad more people come here and instead becomming 'American', bring their country with them, so you have little tokyo, little china, little mexico city, little baghdad, etc...
