Cheney was CEO of Halliburton. People hate Cheney. Therefore Haliburton is responsible for everything that has not gone right.
You mean that logic isn't clear to you?

They do not donate their time and money.
Haliburton is a for profit company in which our vice pres was on the board.
Our administration has given Haliburton numerous no bid contracts to perform services for the government.
Since these were no bid contracts, Haliburton gets to charge what ever they want for the services which ends up as nothing but war profiteering.

You have got to be joking right?
The only people Halliburton has donated to has been to themselves.
Their private security company "soldiers" makes up to 10 times the amount that is paid to our troops. They have overcharged the government by Billions and nothing has been done to recoup the money. They have had no ends of problems with shoddy construction like the Police Academy which has sewage flowing in the open, mold and exposed pipes, typical construction fraud nightmare. They charge our soldiers $45 for a 6 pack of Pepsi. and the list goes on and on.
They are disgusting

Donating? Haliburton was awarded the military contracts without bidding. Therefore, they charge what they like for anything and the taxpayers get to foot the bill. That way they can charge $100,000 for a toilet and then "donate" $50,000 back to the country and make us all believe they are really a good hearted corporation. They are bullshit war profiteers and all who voted for this current administration is to blame. Thanks!

Look at the bottom line on how much they *made.* They're a business and got the lion's share. Another option that could've made friends in the area would have been to use Iraqi companies (before the war, they were a very modern country with a full complement of industry) or even companies from the greater region. Instead, it went mostly (and I mean billions upon billions) to one US company that was closely related to the Vice-President.
It smacks of a kind of nepotism. That cannot be denied. You may not have a problem with it and that's okay--but you cannot deny what it is.

Because Cheney's Halliburton has been awarded BILLIONS in government funds and cannot even account for millions that are missing. They pay their "contractors" 8 times what our soldiers receive and the best equipment while our soldiers go without. If they have ever donated anything it was our money in the first place.

no no no you are so horribly mistaken, halliburton holds the majority of the reconstruction projects in Iraq. They are often running over budget and not on schedule, they are draining billions from the war effort and should be an embarrassment to the government.
As a side note, no other bids were taken for many of the job contracts Halliburton holds.

i have been attempting to inform human beings those issues for years, and nonetheless....they shelter Cheney and Bush. My nephew has been operating for Halliburton, and now KBR for various years as a truck driving force. he continues to be in Iraq, making massive money and expects to be despatched to Afghanistan. His activity is risky, therefore the massive income, yet each and anytime they commute, a number of our troops could guard them. Invading Iraq became obviously an excuse to to benefit from a conflict by technique of funneling funds to Halliburton/KBR. yet, some nonetheless have self belief that the Bush administration truly concept there have been WMDs in Iraq! No-bid contracts are continuously concern to suspicion...fantastically this one! Why won't be able to they be prosecuted, with each and each of the witnesses the authorities has? those crooks are nonetheless on our payroll!

Because Dick Cheney was working for Halliburton when he was tapped to run with GW Bush as vice president. It does appear that Halliburton got some jobs in Iraq without their going through a bidding system...a little fishy. And rather than acknowledge that Halliburton my be the best company for the job, the Bush bashers are claiming favoritism, and that Halliburton bought the jobs with their donations.
It does look a little bad even to me.
