Could I be ovulating? Already?

2007-03-05 05:27:30 · 8 answers · asked by leos_mama 3 in Health Women's Health

Haven't asked ob/gyn b/c I don't have one. I'm a grad student, I see a PA at the health center. Haven't been worried about it, just wondering what could be the cause.

cramps are what you feel when your pelvic muscles are pushing out your period. cramps do not signal ovulation in any way. your muscles must work hardest near the end of your period when they are getting rid of the last bit of fluid. other women's push hardest near the begining. its all normal.

Cramps are caused by reduced estrogen levels. There are three hormons in this group. Cramps are more common in teenagers. Mostly 2 days before and 2 days after the bleeding is common.

A solution:

eat 4 dates (soaked 2-3 hours) at breakfast time. If you dislike dates, eat 8-10 raisins soaked overnight. 2 almonds soaked overnight and eaten after removing peel is also a good supprtive. This is diet for strengthening ovaries which release hormones.

Aloe vera gel removed fresh from the leaf, mixed with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 2 pinches saindhav salt, taken empty stomach every morning will also resolve the issue in 1 month.

Drink planty water, stored in copper vessel. This will increrase copper in blood, helping reducing anemia. It is anemia and sluggish liver that causes cramps.

You should ask your doctor because it could be ovarian cyst. They cause you to cramp at odd times. AND anyone cramps not just teens. Mine are worse now that I am older then when I was a teen. Some people have more problems with this stuff then others. I have a friend who thinks its a cope out but I don't argue with her because I can barely function with mine. If this is something different then your usual then you need to get checked out.

Your ovulating. Count from the start of your period, You usually ovulate between 10 to 14 days after your period. My daughter does the same way, I called her nurse and she said that that is when she is ovulating.

It could just be your body getting rid of any fluids it has left. Should not be very severe pain tho, if it is see your doctor.

I highly doubt ovulation.
I would wonder about retained tissue.
Is there a reason you have not asked your OBS/GYN?
