I wouldn't worry to much about it. Call your OB and let them know what the emergency room doctors found.

Many women have been dialated to two and three for weeks before delivery time just make sure you let the OB know about it.

They will probably order some stress tests to see if there are any contractions and want to start seeing you once a week, but they will be doing that soon any how.

a full term baby is any where between 38 and 42 weeks doctors set the due date for 40 wks.

Be aware of your body. Back pains and sharp pains in the stomach can be a sign of contraction. if you think you are having any then make sure you get to the hospital there are many things they can do to help hold off labor. or to get the baby more ready if it does come early.

Yes totally normal. Your body is getting ready for the birth. :) That's really good. I was 1cm at 32 weeks and 1 1/2 cm at 34 weeks, 2cm at 36 and stayed at two till about 38 weeks then 2 1/2 by 40 weeks then progressed during labor. Seems like you are moving along just fine. Also to help you efface which means to help your cervix soften up, sex is very good. Semen works as a prostaglandin which helps to soften the cervix. But you are only 32 weeks and still have up to 8 weeks sometimes more to go, so there is no hurry. I was 40 weeks and 5 days when I had my first. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second.

Towards the end walking really helps. :)

My babies head has been down since 28 weeks. I was told it's not uncommon. I have no idea about the dialating. Because I have not dialated yet.

I was 1 cm dilated for 5 weeks and stayed that way 2 days after my due date. I had to be induced. It's OK. Just take it easy and don't do anything that might stress your baby. Congrats and good luck.

yes it is normal i was dilated 2 cm at 32 weeks with my second daughter and i had no other issues with it when she was ready she came. also the baby can be head down but if he or she isn't stationed which means the head is like locked into position the baby can still flip out of that position i had that issue they should watch that for you

honey, it is normal...you dialate very slowly. just relax more at home and keep your feet up ok. I am a first time mommy too to a beautiful little 8 month old girl. Dn't strain yourself or you will go into preterm labor.

I study that fifty two% of docs propose a flu shot in the time of being pregnant. That wasn't sufficient of a consensus for me. First, there is mercury in it. i think that's a preservative. all of us understand mercury is poor in the time of being pregnant and we dodge maximum seafood for that difficulty - so why could we inject it?? There are some mercury unfastened pictures accessible and in case you could desire to get the flu shot now, i choose to propose that one strongly in case you will discover it. Secondly, you could or won't get the flu. in case you get the shot you're ensuring that your physique will could desire to combat it off. you're forcing your immune gadget to react. that's the way it works - you get countless the flu cells yet they are lifeless. There are in simple terms sufficient to make your physique react to it so which you build immunity to those strains of the flu. yet back, that's achievable you should stay fairly healthful and dodge the flu altogether. With the shot, you do not find a fashion of averting it. And finally, ensure you don't get the nasal spray. That vaccine is made with stay flu cells and is no longer secure in the time of being pregnant. i'm hoping you reside healthful and feeling solid the two way!

yes-it is normal.....your cervix is starting to open in preparation for the upcoming birth.....mine started to slowly dilate at 30 weeks...and at 33 weeks I was three centimeters dilated-and stayed that way till the day i began labor with my daughter-who was born at 42 weeks...so yes-it is"normal" though each pregnancy is different for each and every woman.
