I would probably be a little upset to say the least at the loss of my pet cat but once I was over the initial shock and if you were a nice neighbor/or whatever you are to me, then you would help me remove the cat from under your tire and bury it if you had the time, aftr you profusly appologized.
However, if you did not even act as if running over a cat distressed you a little or you did not even offer assistance in removing the animal carcus from your tire tread than when you were resting inside your cozy home I would probably slash your tires :)
Moral of the story: Be kind to the crazy cat lady whose cat you just ran over.

I'd say, "I don't have a cat. It must be my neighbors but thank you because that stupid cat keeps running in my garage and my house everytime I open the door. If you hadn't killed it, I was going to go buy a shotgun and blow it's head off. They live across the street if you'd like to tell them. Have a nice day and thanks again!"
