so the answer is z/5

Multiply the top & bottom of the first fraction by 3, so the denominator ends up as 15. So you get ....

9z/15 - 6z/15

Do the subtraction: 3z/15
Simpify the fraction - divide top & bottom by 3: z/5

The answer is z/5
