Well I tore my ankle ligaments in July last year, so eight months ago. The swelling never fully went down. And I had physiotherapy on it. It has previously swollen up through running on uneven ground and long distance running, so I tend to avoid that. Today I have been playing football (soccer) and it is really painful right now at home. Also the inside of the same foot, going along the big toe side and slightly underneath is very painful. It is horrible to walk on and I am currently icing it. But I recieved no direct injury to it today. I may have landed awkwardly on it, but nothing that I was fully aware about or that was painful. So i could have made it worse by carrying on playing. What could it be? And what should I do?

First Vickie I would say from what you are telling me is that your original injury never healed properly and unfortunately will never really go back to the way it was. You are exposing your foot to your old injury specially every time you use it in an aggressive manner, example running, soccer etc., so I would stop that kind of excercise. Tell you what to do, ice it for the first 12 hours, to bring down the swelling, then heat it for the next 12 hours making sure the foot is elevated all the while and stay off it. If you must walk get a cane and put a tensure bandage on the foot when walking, but take it off when your not. Ok, That was the first step, now for the second step. Realize that you will always have this foot condition and come to terms with it. Now go out and buy a magnetic necklace, make sure its all magnetics, next wrap it around your foot when you go to bed and put a big loose sock over it to keep the heat in and stop the foot from getting cold why, because heat helps heal the injury and you will find the swelling will come down and and the pain will subside and you will be able to carry on a normal life. During the day you can also use insole magnets for your shoes or boots, this will boost the muscle strength in your foot muscles by 25%. And your overall strength by 20%. Also if your going to have a go go day take an advil before and this also reduces inflammation and swelling.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

any thing tore or broke never really heals the way it was
