wait a week
i did the same thing, got a pos, went to the doc a week later, after getting all happy & looking at names w/ my husband, a tthe doc's i got a neg blood test, and then my period came. i got my hopes all up that i was pregnant, but it hadn't implanted fully & i lost it ("chemical pregnancy"). it would have just been a late period if i hadn't been eager to find out (ttc), but as it was i was very upset. apparently this is very common, as many late periods are chemical pregnancies. no use getting your hopes up too soon, assume you're just late.

You can test as early as 5 days before your missed period depending on the type of test. I always waited until the first day I missed (with first morning pee). Wait a couple of days and try again. Use a couple different brands to be sure. Stress can also affect your period, just keep that in mind. If it has been a week with no period and neg. tests, contact your doc for a blood test.

You are testing a bit too early but it can't hurt so just keep at it. I think the time is about a week after though. Test first thing in the morning.

You should take another test in about a week. That gives enough time for the hormones to build up in your urine. If you want to test sooner than that, test in the morning when you first wake up. If you are pregnant, it may be too early to tell but if you use you first morning urine then there may be enough hormones in there.

You should wait until next week to take the test, the results will be much more accurate. Good Luck!

unless you bought one of those first response early pregnancy tests then it may be too soon. give your self a week or use only your first morning urine, because this is the most concentrated. or go out if you can't wait and buy a FR test.

What brand you used makes a difference on how reliable the results are. Check this link and retest with a more sensitive brand to be sure. Best of luck!
