Poor education and it's usually the poorly educated persons fault. America provides full time schools for everyone... It just depends on the persons want to learn.

Their people were enslaved much more recently in history than the ancient romans.

Not to mention even after they were 'freed', they were widely considered second class citizens up until only a few decades ago, and continue to be considered subhuman by a pretty good cross section of society today.

I don't think a black man should feel bad for himself, or expect a handout from anyone. But they will put up with a lot more crap, for a lot less money - and don't have much of a choice unless they can rap or play basketball or football.

Slavery ended over 140 years ago, and before that, how long did it last?

Were they forced into ghettos?, taxed into poverty?, sold into slavery at random?, whole settlements slaughtered at the whim of the authorities? blamed for outbreaks of diseases?, causes of omens and the sorts?

Jews were in this prediciment for over a thousand years in Europe...

How about slavery that exist today in the middle east and Africa?

There are blacks in slavery to other blacks as well as whites to muslims in the middle east... why is this information avoided?

What about the free blacks in the south that had slaves as well prior to the civil war? why is this not discussed but avoided?

How about the whites that were slaves here in the states early on in history of the US? why is this information lacking?

Political correctiveness and the powers that be that are behind it desires this slavery issue to always be a black and white racial issue... disregarding anything else that proves it any different

Lets see the Romans enslaved just about everybody they conquered. If they were good enough, they got put into the army.

Slavery ended during the civil war. The persecution continued until the late 1960's.

Races enslaved throughout history:

Jews - By Egyptians, and Romans
Muslims
Christians
Slavs
Spainards
French
Blacks
and many others...

who cares? My family is from Ireland yet I have it forced on me about he whole black/white America. I could care less what happened before my time. I cant stand the hate groups or the people that b i t c h about what someone was forced to do long ago. Today we are privileged to have a free education system yet the majority of the complainers are too damn lazy to get a free education. Like I say who cares their wealth of ignorance astounds me

I can't believe you asked that question. Was your great great grandfather a Roman Slave? You are talking about something that happened centuries ago. Slavery in America happened only decades ago my friend. The wounds are still fresh.
