Omgosh, i cant believe that its almost here, i know i know, only 5% of women actually deliever on there due date, and so i was wondering, my baby is at -3 station, and i am a first time mom, but he did just drop on friday, and im less then 1 cm dialated, dr hasnt said how effaced i am, so any hopes that i will deliever on time??? i mean, obviously no one can say for sure, but i mean, i havent done a membrane sweep, or anything but walking to make him come, so i mean, anybody else in this predictament? lol

i really cant wait, im so glad that at least the due date is coming, because even if he isnt born then, i know i have less then a month until i get to hold him :D

Congrats to you hunny. I had those same feeling when I was pregnant with my daughter. But just as a wee bit of hindsight. They don't feel as good coming out as they do going in...lol. But in the end when you're holding that precious life you and your man created all your fears and nervousness will vanish.

I have three children. With my first I was 50% effaced and 3 cm dialated a week before my due date, and she was still 10 days LATE!! My second was early and I was only 1 cm dialated.

My friend has three kids and everytime her Dr swept her membranes she went into labor that night, it could work for you!!

I'm not trying to bring you down, but you really never know. Good Luck, and there truly is nothing better than the feeling of finally getting close to your due date.

Wow how fun!!! I am excited too, my twins are coming via scheduled c-sec in 2 weeks and cant wait!!!! Walking will help labor along. Walk until you cant walk anymore!! lol! I am serious it helps with dialation and effacment and may stimulate labor!! Congrats and Good Luck!!

Walk as much as you can WITHOUT tiring yourself out. You will need to reserve energy for the labor and delivery coming up.

With your first baby you will probably pass your due date. And it sounds like you have not made much progress. Don't worry though it will happen and when it does it will happen fast. Good luck!
