Relative to north pole do stars all follow counter clocwise motion just like the earth?

According to our perspective, standing on Earth, the stars would rotate opposite of the rotation of the Earth. Think about it. Its only the Earth that is rotating to cause this effect, not the stars.

The stars aren't moving...the EARTH is. So all the stars APPEAR to be moving together.
