You may have a bad head gasket or bad intake manifold gasket. The leak is near the intake manifold, so look for a hose near this area as this would be the first thing to spring a leak. Hope your results are less costly than a head gasket.

intake manifold or exhaust manifold ? need to put a pressure tester on the radiator and pump it up to 12-15 lbs. of pressure and then observe where the leak is coming from. could be something as simple as a leaking hose. anything else is going to be costly. did you take it to the dealer or an independent service station ? you don't want repairs made by someone who "has no idea why". common cause of leaking oil is after having an oil change done, they neglected to tighten the oil filter.

may well be a blown head gasket. much inexpensive little area, yet time-ingesting and expensive exertions. would reason serious engine injury (hydrolock). Open the oil cap and examine for white sludge. Do you have white smoke popping out of your exhaust. If the two is real, you're coolant is mixing with the motor oil, and you have a blown head gasket. in case you spot coolant dripping from the engine, then you've a significant situation. If the coolant is dripping from close to the belt, your water pump may well be failing. Water pumps could get replaced on an analogous time as timing belts.

They are probably right. You could have a bad head gasket or even a small crack in the manifold.
Best to not spend any money on that vehicle. it's probably about $500-1,000 to get the head gasket done.

based on where the leak is I'd say a blown head gasket IS the most likely culprit.
