I was watching 60 minutes and they said that tube sox are just as good at preventing unwanted pregnancies and std's then the condoms you can get out of bathroom machines at bars and gas stations.

There are a number of problems with using tube socks as a contraceptive.
First, you have to find tube socks that are the right size, which means you have to have a full erection while trying them on in the changing room, and most department stores frown on slipping youth size socks on your penis in the changing room. But when you get the right size you are set.
Second, you have to watch out for fuzz.
Third, hose clamp at the bottom kinda sucks.
Fourth, they feel like.... well.....a tube sock during sex
But, a plus is that they can be 100% natural unbleached cotton and reusable.

I think what they meant is if you are wearing tube socks no one will want to have sex with you,thereby making them an effective contraceptive.
Eating a bag of Cheetos every day is also another effective contraceptive.

I think the point they're making is not that the tube sox are effective, but that those cheap condoms are ineffective. get the name brand ones. condoms I mean, not tube sox.

Exactly how are you supposed to USE them? If they work because once you slip one on you can't slip "it" in, then yeah, that's the BEST birth control.

See the ones with stripes are the best and if you want to have a threesome you can get the ones with characters, you do it with ELMO.
