i am only 29 weeks pregnant.. i went to the ER at 26 weeks pregnant becuz i was having the same problem.. i ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks and was on monitering and iv's and pills to stop the contractions.. i am now on bedrest.. i would say please go to the hospital.. its better to be safe then sorry.. i watched alot of videos about premature babies while i was in there and they sure do make you cry.. your baby would survive if born early but you wanna give him/her all the time in the womb that you can.. so id say go to the hospital.. juss to be safe and good luck to you

No--not non-stop contractions. I've been having tons of BH contractions since about 28wks, but was told to call only if I had more than 4 an hour, or if they seemed to start gradually and begin increasing in frequency. If you are having them one after another and definitely more than 4 in an hour, call your doctor right away and they will probably want to see you.
Also in the mean time, try to think back..... have you been drinking enough fluids? If not, dehydration can cause contractions and pre-term labor. Also try laying down on your left side and just relaxing for a few minutes while talking to the doctor/nurse.

You are more than likely having braxton-hicks contractions. Perfectly normal. Be glad you can feel yours. Unless they have a rhythm, your water breaks, or they are coming closer together than 5 minutes and lasting 45-90 seconds you have no need to worry. And inorder to know if they are real contractions you need to time them for atleast 30 minutes. If you are really worried about it. Call the doctor. They will see you and will tell you if anything is wrong.

I dont know if this is your first pregnancy but since this is my 4th my Dr. tells me that more then 6 in an hour or if they get closer together and WORSE you must call or go straight to the hospital. You may just be dehydrated and need some IV fluids or you may be experiencing pre-term labor. Which both are cause for alarm and need to be seen.

are you sure they are not Braxton Hicks? these are contractions Not true contractions but some women don't feel them and others feel them strongly, call your doctor just to be sure or go to the ER and they will check to see if you are dilated.

TIME THEM!!!

this is how you time them:

From the beggining of one, to the beggining of the other

or since your online anyways, go here
http://baby2see.com/contractions_timer.html

that will atomatically help with the timeing, and if there within 5 mintues you need to call your dr. trust me, you dont want to have that baby at home!

of course you've heard of pre term labor...right? sounds like what's going on. go to your local labor and delivery unit located in your local hospital to try and stop it. if they are not able to, your little one should be fine. maybe only small intervention at first like the use of oxygen. good luck and don't hesitate any longer...go to the hospital.

I think you should go to the ER, you could be going into preterm labor.
