I wanted to be a teacher. Halfway through my junior sophomore year in college I got married than had our first child. I stayed home with both of them. We then decided that our kids should be homeschooled so now I am doing that. Teaching them for no "real" pay, except for the reward of their smarts. My vacations happen when I want and I get up when I want. So yeah, I am living the ultimate teacher's dream! IMO.

I wanted to be a journalist, but I did something else instead. I am now living my dream of having a great relationship and a happy family life. So, part of the dream.

I wanted to be a famous actress, no I am not living that dream now because reality hit me as a teen. I realized that its not as fun and easy as it looks.

from the age of 10 i became the adult .. mom worked many hours and dad was a rancher ... so that left me to tend to the house as much as i could and also chase after my baby brother.
it's not until you have children of your own that you really become grown up.
