What does this game show prove other than 90% of the things you should know by 5th grade aren't important or completely irrelevant when you are an adult? One question as an example, "How many sides are there on a trapazoid?". Really, has anyone ever needed to know this for any real application in real life other than perhaps an architect?

This show is interesting to my 5th grader. It annoys the crap out of me...Could it be at any slower pace? It's on after 9pm so they are obviously targeting adults so why are they moving this show at a snails pace??? Not a big fan! Good point though!

to the person giving me thumbs down....you must not be!

I think it's hilarious to see some of the questions and the answers or reactions that people come up with. Yes, 90% of the things are things we forget but a lot of them we should still know. (Not necessarily trapezoids but I still remember basic stuff like major constellations, basic math, history, English and science) I would have been really embarrassed to have been that UCLA graduate that didn't get a single question right and some of them were easy!

me i'm smarter than a 5th greater, its actually funny people who graduated from top universities with 3.5 and higher GPA's couldn't figure out a simple easy question like which type of bear is the largest or what was the name of the ship that the pilgrims sailed in. or who was the first president impeached of the United states, or what does REM stand for. come on these are easy questions...but i love the show i wanna be in it

I have not watched the show but in contrast overall we may be more intelligent in different ways or have more common sense due to life experience and college and such but, a child can and will always teach you something new everyday! It's a give and take relationship.
