It started a little last night, and there is more today. I am sexually active, but I am on the pill, and my pills aren't finished until this coming weekend to have my period. I read on the internet that that could be a sign of pregnancy, but I think me getting pregnant is a pretty slim chance. Any ideas of why I might be having this symptom? Thanks!

If you are often getting brown discharge in the middle of the month is a good sign that your pill isn't strong enough so you are getting breakthrough bleeding. If so, you should see your docter about changing oills. The brown is just old blood.
I had to go through 5 or 6 different pills before I found one that didn't give me breakthrough bleeding. Sometimes it would be fine for three or four months then start.

when i got pregnant with son #2 i got the same type of discharge. I continued taking the pill until well into my 2nd month of pregnancy because after i spotted, i got a very small hemorrage which i took for my period and was not, so you know the saying, better safe than sorry, go to your ob/gyn.
the baby was fine, weighed 9 lbs, so don't freak out, just go to your doc.
