You probably need a boost of self confidence.Don't be afraid of talking to others. You probably are very smart just
a little shy.Sometimes it's good to be quiet also.

It is something very usual. I feel the same when I'm with people that I don't trust enough. Try to be confident and proud about what you have to say. Don't be afraid of anyone. Invest some time in your relationship with the other people in order to feel more comfortable in a conversation.

I was very introverted as a child till I got to liking girls.i got angry at myself.I read some positive thinking books and applied the methods and am now a GREAT salesman.
My father and I didn't have a conversation till I was fifteen my brothers ignored me,I had to Make myself into what i wanted to be,you can change, you have to work at it, you have to have confidence & faith in yourself. by practicing positive reinforcement, tell yourself your the way you wish to be,such as I am positive, honest, Honorable, peaceful, strong, good looking,i am somebody, i am special.things like that.have confidence in yourself, asking the Spirit of God into me made me a much better person personally, i am not preaching, the spirit of god will guide you and direct you and will thru it give you confidence,I wish you the best, go check out some positive thinking type books and learn from them. Church is a great place to go to talk with people.as their mostly understanding and have love in their hearts and will eccept you as you.or join a heath club, doing that, excersizeing and all, helped me a lot,& its not nessacary to talk all the time.I talk to much sometimes.their needs to be balance in all things.Good Luck to you.

The first step is to meet not groups but individuals of a group.
get to know the interests of the individual members of the group. Research "Google it". because that will form a bond of familiarity with them it will make them feel that you belong. once you have jump over this obstacle, they will accept you in the group, consequently you will be comfortable with them and start enjoying. Give me five, if you like it.

I truly believe that the computer is an outlet for introvert people. maybe if you use it less you would be more likely to speak to real people in your ever day situation.

yeah, you are probably shy around other people that you might feel inferior to...you just need to get some confidence, it's really something you just get over...if people are talking about something you are interested, just jump in and give your two cents.
