Do they really think that it's clever, or do they think that since his middle name is Hussein, the rest of us will also come up with the false conclusion that he's somehow connected to Saddam Hussein?

I am a conservative, but I've come to appreciate the "Barack HUSSEIN Obama" approach.

It's a handy guide to which questions are not really worth reading or answering.

I think that each time I see it. I guess they figure they are clever...and have some covert info that the rest of America doesn't.

And if they really believe that he is in any way connected to Saddam or Bin Laden, then isn't it their civic duty to do something about it, rather than spend their time on YA?

Whenever I see that stupidity I automatically make assumptions about the poster's IQ points. It's one of two things. Either they are stupid enough to judge the man by a family name, or they are inflammatory enough to use it in the hopes other ignoramuses will latch onto it. It's nothing to worry about in the end. Anyone moronic enough to keep touting Obama's middle name and calling him a Muslim when he isn't one isn't going to be voting for a Democratic candidate no matter who they are. You've got to wonder about the basic intelligence level of someone who really thinks that Obama is a Muslim plant set to usurp our government and make terrorists his best buddies. Maybe someone needs to check the water supply where these people live.

Republicans will do absolutely anything to avoid talking about the real issues in this country because they know their positions are not only wrong, but corrupt and untenable as well. So they concoct nonsense and drivel like making up the notion that Al Gore claimed to have invented the internet, implying that John Kerry faked his Vietnam service, harping about Barak Obama's middle name, and hosting events where intellectually bankrupt wh*res like Ann Coulter can spew filth and hate and be cheered for doing so.

Anyone who votes for these unAmericann Republican clowns ought to be ashamed of themselves.

because of fact some conservatives are racist and be attentive to there are people accessible who're petrified of a center call. They be attentive to that each and one and all of those voters are pushed by potential of worry and because their guy can't win on the themes he has to win with worry. a persons' center call does not inform you something approximately what style of president they had make.

They are using the socially acceptable anti-semitic (Arabs are semites despite the Jews' monopolizing of that term) views of mainstream America. Racism against Arabs and Muslims has become fully acceptable and encouraged, and therefore by using Hussein along with Barak and the closeness of Obama and Osama (despite the obvious linguistic root differences) is a way to make people think of those dirty brown people that Fox news tells them to hate so much (along with Pat Robertson of course), and therefore they associate the poor fellow with that bunch, making him lose a handful of votes from the intellectually deficient.

It is just their usual attempt to assassinate the character of someone that is a threat to them, it is repressive behavior, many are catching on to it and completely disregard it as something that is just what they do. I still like Obama, I think he has a very bright future. I wish him luck with it because he seems like the kind of person to put what is good for America ahead of personal greed.

They do it to piss off the LIEberals!

And many Americans will fall for the smear. The right-wingers understand the phrase "No one went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American People" better than anyone.

Dittos! Hallelujah! Amen!

They're just trying to add a negative connotation to it. To make people think of Saddam when they think of him. It's like a marketing ploy. Stupid tricks politicians pull.

They're childish. They think that by pointing out that his middle name is the same as The Bad Man's last name, they're going to point out some connection in their political ideals.

I'd like to know their thoughts on BILL Frist's connection with BILL Clinton...
