y do we watch so much telly?

mine has got to be shameless, can't believe it has finished. the reason why i like it cause it is soooooooooo funny! you have got watch it when it is next time round. if we didn't have telly what else is there too?

Crime watch, it's only on once a month so I can condone watching it! I'm intrigued by the state of mind of some of the offenders and the strength of some of the victims.
We watch telly as an escapism most of the time - that's my excuse for watching the soaps anyway!

the best program ever made is Peep Show. Pure brilliance
24 is good but i have only seen series 1 on dvd and i dont have sky.
top gear is quite good but sometimes quite boring
simpsons, futurama, family guy and south park are all really good
Brasseye was brilliant but its over forever due to 'controversy'
the office and extras are both funny and i enjoyed that mitchell and webb look recently
never mind the buzzcocks is really funny with simon amstell but the peep show is absolutely brilliant and reamins my favourite programme ever and i am immensely looking forward to the 4th series which will be on channel 4 in the spring..

My favourite TV show currently around is Lost, but my all-time favourite is At Home With The Braithwaites, don't ask me why!
I think the reason we all watch so much TV is for our own gratification, and because seeing people with bigger problems than our own makes us feel better (regardless of the fact that most TV is fiction, it's a proven study!) :o)

I guess we watch so much telly because our brains have been numbed and we can no longer cope with intellectual activity.

Mine is Prison Break (on tonight at 10pm - can't wait!!!)
Why - this is simple is great, very intese and exciting. Also because Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and Amaury Nolasco are gorgeous!!!
Very entertaining!

For me it has to be Bonkers on a thursday night, followed by Benidorm, they both make me laugh.

Mine is Ghost Whisperer the 1st series has ended now but i can't wait for the second one!!! When i watched it i had to have everything ready so nothing could disturb me when i watched it...i don't know why i loved it so much??? =]
