Western men are the reason opressed men and women in Islamic dictatorships can hope (I know not all islamic countries but there are at least 2). Men used their big brains to figure out how to walk on the moon cure cancer, inventend the printing press moved on to the very fabrics of life tinkering with Dna research and yet when I look up a question on what women think of men there is some pretty demeaning stuff (brought to mine attention through computers). So what have men to do short of beeing omnipotent gods to impress ;-). You gals sure aint eazy ^.-

It's pure jealousy and envy and hatred. Western women are jealous and envious of men. Especially lesbian or bisexual women, who see men as competition for other women.

But more importantly -- it's all that you've mentioned: men have accomplished great feats that even the most man-hating women can't deny.

Men did create democracy. Men did create the internet. Men did find cure for numerous diseases.

But instead, women only want to focus on "wars" that men led, etc. Women only want to focus on the negative aspects to demean men. Sometimes war is necessary to PREVENT war. Do women consider that? If you are attacked, hitting your opponent harder will make him back off. The same principal applies if you're walking down the street and someone tries to bully you. You hit them back and make them leave. Also, when women were in power, women have led wars and started wars as well. The reason why it has been mostly fought by men is because it was mostly men that were in charge.

Women are completely ungrateful and jealous/envious towards mens great positive accomplishments, which overshadow anything any woman has ever done.

Why do you make it seem that Men did this if you want to be technically men did nothing a (man) may have did something but all of them no. .As far as the gods statement..... please... Men think little of women so women think little of men.

As far as finding a "cure" for cancer stop it many patients keep getting cancer even when doctors treat it and it goes away it resurfaces that is not a cure. Man tried to cure cancer and after that invented aids .

I am sure you will find that women have also had a hand in discovering cures for cancer, figuring out how to walk on the moon and DNA research. The simple fact that you do not recognize women's contributions may have a lot to do with the "low" opinions you experience.

no one is perfect, be it a man or a woman. and a group of people is even further from perfect than an individual could ever hope to be. it seems to me that your overgeneralizing both groups, and perhaps the examples you are vaguely referring to are more about those individual women's experiences with men than their attitudes about men in general, as SOME men do lend a VERY bad example for humans in general & men more specifically.

This is going to be a long.... and very blunt answer, so brace yourself!

Like FunkyMetal has said, women have fallen for the feminist ' equality ' propaganda that has given them all the rights and freedoms and leaves ONLY responsibilities for men.

A lot of modern western women also have extremely distorted views about men. This comes from the media, which constantly portrays men as lazy and incompetent and women as demi - gods. ( A good example of this is My Super Ex - Girlfriend ) Also, western women seem to be attracted to the WORST possible type of men, like thieves, drug dealers and players as they excite her and dismiss the average intelligent good hearted, hard working man as being TOO BORING! ( And I'm not just talking about talking about geeks or nerds here, I'm talking about the REAL good men as well who are getting a raw deal! )

As women squander away their prime years to these exciting bad boys, they inevitably start thinking that ALL men are like this, even though these jerks represent at most, only 20% of the male population! This in turn, leads them to become bitter and think that there are no good men out there. Well, of course not if all that she goes after is the scum of the earth!

Also, a lot of men have no backbone when it comes to standing up for their rights. In fact, the men in power are are women firsters as they actually vote more! That led to the passing of all these horrific AND sexist laws against the interest of men.

Western women also view the good men as nothing more than human ATMs, after spending the best of their years to the thugs, she decides she needs to marry a sucker so that she can quit her job and suck him dry as she lives off him, demanding more of him, leaving a wreak while she can go off and cheat all she wants. And when she gets bored of him, she can undertake a no fault divorce and clean him out, leaving him penniless in many cases.

So, western women think all men are scum because they hang out with scum in the first place! They only think that they are only useful as a human ATMs and is to be used that way. Also, a lot of these men have no backbone, so all these women see are guys that they can manipulate with extreme ease and makes them feel superior to them.

So, thats why I think western women think so low of men. Finally before I go, I'll mention two words you should get used to hearing over the next few years; ' Marriage Strike '

It's easier to hear what people(women in this case) are saying if your heart, mind and ears are prepared to listen and learn.
I think that if you really wanted answers and not just
justification / affirmation for your point of view, you would start by making less aggressive, inflammatory questions & posts.
If you really believe as you say you do and feel maligned as a Western Male, why do you engage in "word wars"?
It's much saner to sincerely ask your questions and wait for honest, sincere answers(discounting for CRANKS) than to throw down a gauntlet by making silly, outrageous claims such as "men invented the concepts of democracy & human dignity..Western Men are the reason Islamics...can have hope" etc.
Who put us into the skirmishes to end Nazism, Communism, ets, but Men? And wasn't it men who sought to dominate the world through those forms of oppresssion?
I truly feel compassion for men who do not understand why Western women do not appreciate them or the old schools of relationships, marriage, and politics. I also think it's time to seek a new paradigm for yourselves, and to preserve our human race. Man/Woman relationships are just one forum for doing so.

most western women have fallen to the feminist propaganda, and thus suffer fatefully at the hands of the evil regime. Women by nature are followers and there is nothing wrong with that. Most men or so the growing generation has only single mothers as parents and they do not have a father figure, for a child to be healthy mentally, he needs both, a mother and a father figure, most single moms hate men because someone probably slept with them, made em pregnant and ran off, and they teach their young ones to hate men. Male childrens grow up with confused mentality about life, seeing only one side of a bad nightmare, an ugly story and they take actions from all that they learned from that. you can clearly see everywhere in the world where a family with a sane mother and father, the kids generally do find, are happy, have a good childhood, doesn't matter if they are rich or poor, having parents is an important part of life!. you learn from them alot of things about life. Most western women have lost their way with men, and men who grew up with single moms do not generally know how to be a man, how to be a father. Thus they take very stupid steps ending in bad relationships. and again for this behavior of men, women blame men, SO first women hate men because they got pregnant and their male partner ran off, and when these little guys grow up as men and they don't know what a father figure is, they screw things up with women and then more women hate men. And well it also comes down to why the father did run away. there could be a couple of reasons, the father was probably a gangster type which most women go for who can't handle and don't want to handle any responbilities and well you can't blame men for women being single mom's, if they took extra care and didn't go out like a sl*t and start humping guys, this wouldn't have had happened to begin with.

Men defeated the Nazis? Okay – but women made the ammunition, worked on bomber jets, and nursed the wounded. Women were not allowed in front-line combat (because MEN did not want them there) so women made the Woman’s Naval Reserve, United States Marine Corps Women’s Reserve, the Women’s Army Corp, etc . . . in case the “men in charge” needed them. Along with doing all of this, women supported their men emotionally and financially (recycling goods, donating items, knitting clothing) and also raised the children and kept our economy going as much as possible.

To be honest, the United States was never in any ‘danger’ of the Communist party to worry about seriously ‘defeating’ it on our own soil. The highest record of people in the American Communist Party was about 75,000. . . . and most were immigrants in the Northeast. Funny how the Communist Party gave presidential support to Jessie Jackson in 1988 – but we won’t go there. Take a peek around and you’ll see that in Poland, it seems the general public gives the title of Communism Defeater to women – seven of them!

Democracy pretty much started in Greece (although recent evidence has been found of democracy in 6th century India). Democracy here wasn’t democracy though – only upper-class males could have a say in anything. Still – exactly who the hell “invented” democracy – no one knows! Could have been a woman! (Oh my!)

I embrace that when I'm in a relationship with a man that he is King, and I'm subservient to him.

However, this is duel roles for him. When you examine all good Leaders (Religious Leaders, Monarches, Presidents, Ceo's, and Managers) they all have leadership skills which provide goals, rewards (over punishments), appreciation, and taking responsibilities. A good leader lets his ppl know the goals, and acheiv the goals. He will be experienced in helping during crisis's and letting go when appropriate. He is kind and not cruel.

I have seen many good Western men who follow these standards of good leadership (in their roles as Husbands, Fathers, Managers, Co-Workers, Friends, and Sons). However, there are also the men who fall short of these qualities; and in fact search for ways to lower the standards rather than raise the standards. It is my opinion that the Western Women who are yelling the loudest are the ones in pain from the lowering of standards.

There are a lot of women that I have talked to that has a low opinion of men.Biggest reason is they pick guys that use them or leave them for a younger woman.The problem is these women have low self esteem so their judgement in picking their mates are not good.We all contribute to a better place to live men or women.Don't judge one bad apple for the whole bunch.
