Hi im in grade 9 and i have a science expo. im in a group with two complete idiots who gave us the topic of "are teenagers concerned about global warming". i think this is a really boring topic, because i already know the answer (NO). but anyway, i need help to make it more interesting. we have made a survey, but i would like to expand it a bit more. (we have to present on a poster + portfolio). Does anyone have any info on global warming? or have any ideas i could use? PLEASE i need help.

Make it interesting by trying to disprove it! There are tons of sites out there about just that. Plenty of credible scientists say that it isn't happening or that at least it is not caused by human influence. If you wish to torture yourself by watching Gore's stupid movie, then try and disprove all the points of it. At Least this way you will get noticed and with all the crazy dooms day cry babies out there if you back up your arguments you will appear well rounded and educated. Here's a couple starting points:

have you watched the movie: an inconvenient truth? you should start there. it's interesting and not boring, so it shouldn't be a tortuous experience. you could email me your survey and i'll offer some suggestions. meanwhile, go to www.MotherEarthNews.com and tool around for global warming info, or www.ucsusa.org is a good one. go to the epa's website too, although under bush their info is likely to be quite distorted. does your survey ask about polar bears and caring what happens to them? that seems to be the hot issue right now, and teens might care more about helping them than some abstract concept such as global warming, and arguably they are the same issue...good luck
