I bought one the other day because I heard it was good exercise. I can't remember how to get it going!!Any tips?

Lay it on the floor in front of you or just put it around your waist to skip ahead. Then let go of it and immediately start swinging your hips side to side. People say spin in a circle but side to side is a lot better and works =)

This is not going to be easy to explain but here goes.First put it on the floor in front of you and step in it, pick it up in your hands and bend your hips to the right side , swing the hula hoop back to your right side and then push it forward in a circular motion across the front of your body to the left , at the same time swing your hips to the left in a circular motion and thats how it goes. Be careful not to put your back out its easerly done and very painful
