I'd be surprised if he makes the 53 man roster coming out of camp. I hear that the Jags may be looking at obtaining Darrell Jackson from Seattle if that makes you feel any better.

He's very middle of the road. I don't think he's any better than Wilford.

Part of the problem is that it's a players market right now. There aren't a lot of WRs on the market, so teams are overpaying.

He does return punts, and the contract appears to be backloaded, so it should be okay.

Nothing to get excited about, but he might be decent....

I'm like you, I hate it when my team signs a ho-hum journeyman chump kind of guy...

He was in a pretty bad offense his whole career, I think if you make the deal 3 or 4 years ago it would be a good deal , but he may be past his prime now.

A really good return man is valuable just for that. They can break a game open. Think about what they do just for field position off of each punt and kick off. If they are decent at WR to top it off.....

Would agree, a lot of money for a WR who has never done anything great and has been often injured.

At his age, he seems old I don't know maybe I am wrong. So you are looking at 3.4 a year. I think that seems like a lot. Yeah at that price it was probably a terrible sign.
