We have a 30 foot high ceiling over part of our living room and dining area. I can climb up to the loft and get pretty close to the ceiling there, but the ceiling extends way past the loft, where no vacuum attachment would reach. I'd really like to get the cobwebs down. Any suggestions?

Telescoping pole with a feather duster or soft brush attached to the end. (I know you can purchase poles long enough to change lightbulbs at that height, you could use the same type of pole to clean with)

If you have an air compressor, you might consider using some rigid tubing... either cpvc, or copper, for example. (For small rigid tubing I would use copper... you can even use "flexible copper" for this). I would use an air nozzle with trigger, or thumb switch at the base. As you might expect.... when dusting that high up... its going to come down, hehehe. So, you might consider spreading some plastic over your furniture, and using a dust mask when doing this. This would probably be the 'lightest' tool to use to clean that high up.

Another option would be to purchase some vacuum hose tubing, and attach it to a pole, to help vacuum at that height. Tho... you will still, likely see some dust fall.

Ive used the small flexible copper (about 3/8 inch, or smaller) tubing myself to clean in the workshop environment.. just short bursts with the air nozzle with usually blow any dust or cobwebs right down.... of course, it may take an hour for all that dust to finally settle, hehehe, if you do not have an air cleaner at work up at the shop ceiling. You are only talking about cleaning in your home tho, so, you will not need to do this every week, as I did in the work environment.

Have Fun.

Wrap a kids kickball in a light weight cloth , secure the cloth with string or rubber bands. Spray the thing with funiture spray (or maybe nothing at all)and give it a mighty toss up into the corner to snag the webs??? Of course, move anything out of the way down below that might get damaged by the ball, and get the person with the best arm in the house to do the tossing LOL
Hey, maybe even use one of those kids toys that shoot the toy darts - cover the tips with cotton or something to snag the webs - might as well have fun! Good luck - this was a brain teaser!

you are able to Spray them with a sealer and spray the ceiling to hide it up. there is one little issue once you try this it truly is amazingly confusing to eliminate because the paint will save the water out of the ceiling fabric and it truly is amazingly confusing to scrape off.
