UGH.....I cant even go to the movie theatre comfortably because there is always some ****** that thinks it helps the main character out if they shout where to run/what to do at them. I HATE THAT! I cant even enjoy the movie. What should I do? If I tell them to shut up, they dont, should I leave and tell the ticket booth person that I wanna watch my movie at a later time? Is there anything you can do about that?? I mean fir those of you that havent been though that, WOOOO it SUCKS!! Friday is my birthday and I dont want ANY loud mouth to ruin my movie. TIPS?

If someone is ruining your experience, report it to the management immediately. Unless the manager of your local cinema is a complete bonehead, he/she will take your complaint seriously.

It also helps to go at "off" times. If you go at peak times when it's going to be crowded, there's a higher chance of sitting near someone who wants to talk through the whole thing. I often go on Monday nights. It's less crowded, and if someone does talk, I have more places in the theater that I can move to.

I know what you mean. I dont understand how someone can pay $8 for a movie, and then sit and talk on a cell phone while it's playing.

Like the person above, got o movies when it is a slower time. I usually go see movies during their matinee times, because then you also save money (most theatres have an afternoon discount).

Don't go to movies on their opening weekend. That way you'll have a lot better chance at avoiding the teeny-bopper crowd that's most likely to do stupid stuff like shout at the screen.

For your birthday this weekend, just pick out something that's been out for a week or two already and you should be fine.

I like to throw candy at them. But I guess you can always go tell the theater manager as well. They'll probably give you free tickets to a later show.
