I have not registered to vote yet because im very conflicted between which party to join. can any of you give me some advice on the diffrences and probably even request some sites that i can visit. I really want to make a decision by the end of the month.

I wouldn't register to any particular party. Know what you stand for and vote accordingly. Also, I once joined the independent party but found out later that they were big time christians and I'm not cool with the whole mixing religion and politics thing.

I wouldn't suggest you put a time limit on it. Not every state has the same rules. In some states you must declare affiliation when you register to vote. Some let you vote in the primary without declaring you affiliation. Others only require you to show up at the poles on the primary day and declare yourself then. Their is no reason to rush. If you wish to make a thoughtful decision, you should gather all the information you can. A good place to start is with the Constitution of The United States. Find out what your government is supposed to be doing. Not what you would like it to do. Realize that the role of the Federal Government is supposed to be very limited. The States are supposed to be doing most of the work themselves.

You should register as either a Republican or Democrat, even if you don't choose to vote strictly for a Republican or a Democrat so that you can vote in the primaries. Just Google "political party test" to find some sites to determine which party you most agree with. I've included one below.

Be independent. that is what I registered as, becasue I couldnt chose. I want to be open to either a republican, demorcrate, or any other candidate that runs.
