I've introduced other friends to a couple, now I wonder if I'm putting anyone at risk. I want to know exactly what he did so I can make the fair decision of ending my relationship with them or not.

If someone was convicted of a crime the chance that it didn't actaully happen is like 2% or less. So without even looking, I would bet it happened and chances are will again because victimizers will always be victimizers.

Depends if he had to register as a sex offender.

First try doing a search online for your local paper and his name, there might be an article online. Other than that I say stop by your police station and ask them.

But also don't make rash decisions about it, there's many variables that must be taken into account. Make sure to talk to him about your concerns and see where he stands. There is something to be said about the devil you know. Plus you might be able to do some good for him, too often these people are marginalized and don't have support for recovery. Just an idea.

Yes, all court documents not subject to priviledge are open to the public. All you have to do is contact the clerk of courts where the case was held and ask for the records. You can do this in person, by phone, and in some areas online. There may be fees if you get copies.

Yes, best thing is to ask the rapist. Get info on what kinds of women he prefers to rape.

Ask them...IMO rapist are never safe....They have the highest recidivist rate amongst felons. But then again, thats just me.
