I'm pretty sure I already have the answer in my mind, but I was looking for what other people think.
Also, is it worth my while to buy Live Gold?
The thing is, I can buy the 360 premium brand new for 340 + tax.

I have a 360 and I love it. I do not however, have Live Gold. I have regular live and it works just fine. If you like FPS and great graphics the 360 is for you. If you are more of a RPG fan then I would save up for the PS3 though there are some games coming down the pipe for the 360 that are RPG's that look really good. In the end the only reason to get a PS3 is for the Blue Ray DVD if that is SO important otherwise save your $ and get a 360.

Yes you should buy an xbox 360 with gold subscription. There isnt nothing like play agianst others around the world. Its amazing

Xbox 360 is more popular for online gaming but I would get the PS3 because you get free online playing just like xbox live and I personally think PS3 has better graphics.

Yes, the PS3 will be a waste because the online gaming is garbage. Get xbox live and you will have hours of entertainment for a price that is well worth it.

No, you should not be buying a Xbox 360. Instead, give the money to a charity like the ones supporting children with cancer. Your $340 will be much better spent.

Yes if you like to waste 4-5 hours a day. That's what I do and regret it just about every time. It sure is fun though.

Yeah why not its fun thats why i have one but its more fun on live so yeah it is worth getting gold but make sure you have a good broadband connection.

DONT GET THE PS3 bcz same graphcs and itll cost more
so get the 360
