The most valuable and the least talented are the same person, Shaq. The NBA is getting to be a show for tall mutants.

The best ever would be either Oscar Robinson or Pete Maravich. The big O AVERAGED a triple double in one season and for his career he averaged, 28 pts. 7 reb. and 8 assists. Remember, assists only came when he passed the ball to a teammate and he did not dribble and then made the shot, if he dribbled, then the assist was not counted. Pistol Pete revolutionized the game. He would be the one player that if he came back and played(i know he can't)he would fit in with the game. He did everything, behind the back passes, between the other person's legs passes, everything. The greatest now I think would be Steve Nash because he is a point guard and shoots at above 50%, and also makes everyone around him better. The worst player, nobody knows, because he never plays, but the most overrated is LeBron James, because all he does is dunk and everyone thinks that he is amazing.

I don't know that I can pick a Worst player...you could go with overrated...perhaps Steve Nash or Dwayne Wayde as most overrated.

As for the Best Player...I know we will see talk about LeBron, Kobe and the likes, but for me hands down it is Dirk Nowitski!!!

He is a great if not one of the best shooters in the game today. He has taught himself to drive the lane. He has learned to pass as he now has a higher assist average than Tim Duncan. He rebounds as well as anyone and he plays defense in a mulititude of ways.

The Knock on Dirk is that he doesn't play the game the way many of us think a 7' player should play. He's not a post up Shaq type of guy, rather he is a more polished version of KG, without the media over hype.

Here's an interesting stat...Reaching 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assits...Kobe has done it 3 times this year, LeBron has done it 3 times, while Dirk has done it 9 times!!!

Dirk is the most complete players who has an all around game, not just a primadonna with a ton of ESPN Highlights. To add to his ability, he is perhaps one of the most humble players in the league and in my book that means a ton. Today's players have more selfish ego's to them and they take away from the team game...Dirk has developed into one of the greatest individual players while also being perhaps the best over all TEAM player.

Again, the best player in the NBA today is hands down Dirk Nowitski.

I like a lot of people, but I really can't stand teams that depend on ONE person to do all the work and win all the games (L.A. Lakers and Bryant; Clevleland Cavs and James, etc.) I think one of the best teams is the Dallas Mavericks because their whole BENCH can actually play. And they aren't in the game for show...they play real fundamental basketball, not all that And 1 crap. And they aren't cocky or arrogant with wins at all either. I love it when Kobe and other teams get really cocky about their wins and the very next game is a loss.

Players themselves are hard to say but Kevin Garnett deserves to be with a better team. He's a great thorough player and he's on a team where he gets little to no help. I believe they lost to the Celtics this week...that's pretty sad!

Worst players are ex Heat players: Dwane Causwell and Juan Gougou who is probably home in China right now. The best player without a doubt is Lebron. Who turnd Cleveland around than almost pulloff an upset in last years playoff v.s the Pistons and also lived up the hype and expectations coming into the NBA from Highschool all he have to do is work on his free throws, but you got to give credit where credit is deserved.

The best player right now, i'd say it's a tie between kobe and dirk. They are both playing really well. But dirk and the Mavs are playing better as a team, where as kobe is pretty much on his own. No supporting cast.

Now this other person may not be the WORST, but I think he's overrated. Steve Nash. The guy may be a great point guard and all, but how little defense can that guy play and get away with it?!!

If we are talking about current players and not all time players, then D. Wade in my opinion is the best player in the league. He is the most athletic player and one of the most complete all around players in the league (all at 6 foot 4 inches). Not only does he give you the points, assists, and rebounds, the guy will shut you down on defense. Once again.... at 6'4" he averages over 1 block per game and a few steals. I hate to make comparissons, but he is as close to MJ as a player that I have seen since MJ retired. In fact T-Mac and Kobe are changing their (once mostly score mided) game styles this year because guys like Wade, James, and Anothony have shown that scoring is only a part of the game. He also has a championship ring... Nash, Iverson, Kidd, Carter... do not.

The worst players are the ones that sit on the bench and await being sent down to the D-League. Worst All-Star player is Josh Howard because he needs to pass more (1.9 assists). I personally do ot like players who only play to score. I would have given the honor to Michael Redd, but he was not selected to play in the All-Star game this year. Josh is not that great of a shooter yet (.456) and at 6'7" poses a big threat from a SG or SF positions. Time will only tell if he realizes that he will get better better shots if he is concidered a passing threat on offense. Defense needs to improve also, but he has all the tools to make himself as great as he wants to be.

Ok First of all Shaq being the least talented. Have you ever seen someone as big as this guy be able to move there feet like Shaq. his next project should be Dancing with the Stars.. Thats talent but to answer the question, the best would have to be between Kobe and Lebron. Both of them play on both ends of the court. As for the least talented I would have to say its a tie between Jason and Jarron Collins. When your the biggest guy on your team and in 25 mins you only grab 3-4 boards and 2 pts....WoW!!!
