Tree removal from private land.?

Need general information about tree removal from private land.
Are there any good resources or books to review and get a better understanding of how to proceed.

Also, if someone cut my trees without my permission. What can I do?

Contact local conservation department and they can help you with both. Around here, if someone other then utilities company cuts trees belonging to you, they paid full market value of tree (Fully grown) times two.
