How long after sobriety should you wait to conceive a child? When will your body be suitable to carry the little one? Drug - Methamphetamine.

Note: Everyone makes mistakes in their lives. I never will do it again but am very concerned about the well being of a child I would bring into this world.

I agree with Exo. Why not wait a year [at the very least] just so that you are 100% sure that the desire to do it again is totally gone--or you've learned well how to deal with it. Becoming sober is a hard task and it's not something done over night. While you can say you will no longer do meth it's still going to be tempting. I wish you the best of luck and I really admire that you are getting your life back together!

12 months just to make sure you are up to the task of being drug free before raising a child get your life in order first before you order another life.

However long it takes for that drug to be out of your system.

I reckon a month should be fine. I work on a Neonatal Unit and see the hell babies going through drug withdrawal endure, so please dont take any whilst you are pregnant x

i'm not sure about that drug in particular, but everything else they say to stop three months prior. (caffeine, cigs, alcohol, prescriptions that aren't prego-friendly).
