I was wondering because I was looking for a good fan that will keep my processor coll if I overclock it...and I see that there are almost 20 different fan sizes (I know the heatsink size and what will fit on my CPU/motherboard). What's the difference? Do they cool better? Are they louder as the size of the fan increases?

It is possible to get a quiet large cooling fan, but you run the risk of voiding any warranty on your CPU if you change the standard fan. It would be better for you to buy a decent case that has plenty of good ventilation. There are cases that have a large fan at the side of the case with provision for large fans in the case too. Make sure the computer is not in a closed in environment.

Personally, I bought a case called MONOCEROS, strange name, but great case. My system stays nice and cool. If you are in the Brisbane area I can recommend a wholesale outlet that sells them. Have a look at this web site and see the pics of the cases. http://www.auscompcomputers.com/product-computercases.htm
