I've been a fan of Marvel comics for years. But something always bothered me.
Who is more powerful Galactus from the Silver Surfer Comics
or Apocolypse from the X-men comics?

"But Galactus is no common villain. He has been known to help the champions of the universe at times, such as in the Infinity Gauntlet ordeal, and the Infinity War. There is no good or evil for Galactus. Galactus lives on logic, and balance. He stands between Death and Eternity, and is necessary for their continued existence. Galactus is currently roaming the universe, feeding on worlds to satiate his hunger, and preparing to fulfill his promise one day. What promise is that? The promise that he will give back what he has taken...and exactly how he does it remains to be seen!" (http://marvelite.prohosting.com/surfer/galactus/profile.html)

"Apocalypse's original body was immortal. Even before being modified by the Celestial ship, he lived for thousands of years and was highly resistant to injury. With the Celestial modifications, this resistance to harm was amplified, making him virtually impervious to harm, although it is now possible (after his original body was destroyed) to cause him injury that would not be immediately regenerated by his power. Should he suffer injuries that prove potentially fatal, he can enter a coma-like state of suspended animation during which he may recover from his wounds with the assistance of his Celestial technology" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse_(comics)#First_mutant.3F).

The more evil would be Apocolypse for what he has endured and become. But I believe that he is also the more powerful as he is purely evil and can transform into any entity to destroy or create demise which could destroy Galactus as well. One is trying to survive while the other is pure evil. Remove the sustanence and he will die where Apocolypse was born immortal and became 100 fold through the years, even after his death and ressurrection.

Spoilers in the answer...
In the recent X-Men story arc written by Peter Milligan I believe, they show that Apocalypse got his powers from the Celestials, and that one day they would request something of him.
Following that with what happens at the end of Earth X, where it is shown that planets with life are actually just incubation eggs for celestials, and that they put super powered beings on them solely to protect the unborn celestials. So when they come to Earth seeking the celestial in the Earth, the heroes call upon Galactus who was shown to be the only being that could defeat the celestials. In this story, Galactus destroys planets because he is actually getting rid of the celestials that are growing within them.
Following that logic, Galactus has the ability to destroy those who have created Apocalypse, it seems that as stated before, they are not even in the same league...

Perhaps they will put this to rest at some point, and things do waver a bit even with Marvels continuity.

The Beyonder was more powerful than Galactus
Any entity who posessed all six infinity gems when they could be used in unison was more powerful than Galactus.

The Celestials, if not as individuals, certainly as a collective, are more powerful than Galactus.

I have heard that the Phoenix force has been declared in Marvel comics, by Galactus himself, to be superior to Galactus.

The In Betweener (not to be confused with "Prison Break"'s "Tweener") is presented at least once as Galactus's equal counterpart.

The Watchers, collectively, may be more powerful than Galactus.

If they ever tell me the Stranger is in Galactus' circle of "all powerful", I will stop making mine Marvel

Apocolypse? He is not even near the same league

On a good day when Galactus is at his full power, virtually no one in the marvel universe can stop him, apocalypse is powerful but is rather limited compared to Galactus, moreover there are only few things that can harm galactus and not many people have access to that.

Galactus hands down...he has been described as a "force of nature" and there is no way Apocolypse can eat a planet

galactus is far more powerful than apocolypse even though apocolypse is immortal galactus has the power of the cosmos at his fingertips and can create heralds to help him feed on the energy of planets for him to survive, apocolypse has had to rely on stolen technology that he recovered when an alien spaceship landed on earth thousands of years ago with that technology he has traveled to other worlds and gained more technology the ship itself is a sentient program and knows that apocolypse is using it to further his own plans

We’ll probably never know. I get the impression that they are each supposed to be the tops in their respective categories (Galactus, in the Cosmic category, and Apocalypse in the Mutant category.) They are not meant to clash, despite our interest in seeing such a fight. They were created to serve the will of Kang-- I mean, Stan Lee—and to make money for Marvel, and if they were expended upon each other, they would not make money for the company any more, now would they?

Galactus is a Watcher gone bad.
Apocalypse is a mutant with Celestial technology and the Technoorganic virus.

Galactus is easily more powerful.
