i agree with mommyof3boy, sperm finds a way. However, it does only live for 72 hours so if it has farther to travel it may not live long enough. His diet has alot to do with the thickness. maybe he needs more water? A Dr.'s opinions is probably a good idea. It took me 4 years to conceive and it didn't happen until i stopped trying so hard. good luck to you both.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

It wont make any difference as long as it comes out inside you. The fact that your present partners sperm is thick is more likely to indicate that he needs to drink more fluids. He could be a little dehydrated. How far a man sperm shoots can be affected by many factors such as age and general health.

No it doesn't have to shoot out. But if its just a clump he may need to get it checked...sometimes if its too thick the sperm can't swim out. He can go for a sperm analysis...its a really easy test to go for.

The closer to the cervix the easier it is for the sperm to find its way. But sperm usually swims up vaginal secretions, so it's just as important that you are nice and moist!

It may because the sperm will die if it dont get to the egg fast. I think that maybe talk to a dr to see what he says but i think it may have something to do with it.

try liftinh your buttocks off the bed(with a pillow or something) and resting like that an hour after you have sex. Also....go buy an ovulation kit at the drug store to know when you are most fertile.

um yes it could be a problem... if its really thick then he needs to go see the doctor, there could be an underlying cause of you not getting pregnant... have him see a doctor...
