Why do I feel this animalistic need to "mate" around the time of ovulation?? I thought only animals get this. Also I am afraid of other men other than my husband around this time too, ironic,,,,why does all this happen?

Totally normal!! You get a spike in your sexual desire, do to raging hormones.

If you are afraid of men in general is there a cause of this? maybe something that happened in the past or something? Im not sure you would only feel afraid of men during this time of the month... but i do believe that its in our nature to have sex and mate when we are ovulating... good luck and dont worry!! men arent out there to hurt you especially your hubby!! =)

This feeling of needing to "mate" is normal. During your ovulation time you are most fertile and you feel the need to be more sexual ; it is human nature. I get the same way around my ovulation...I even dress more sexy to get my husband's attention. Just be careful that you don't get carried away and get fertilized when you don't want to be...yikes!

ovulation is the time when you are fertile to get pregnant therefore your body wants to mate even if you don't want to
