I have made a huge breakthrough in the last 15 months. I have fought my demons and won.
I have pulled all the major events out and examined them from all angles, and asked myself "What have I learned from this?"
I have kept my new knowledge and thrown out the painful memories.
I feel as if I have spent this time climbing out of an unending pit. One day I realized I was out of the pit, and my spirit was running free.
I cannot put into words how this has changed my life for the better. I now have so many things I never had before:
self-confidence
endurance
stamina
desire to continue my quest and persevere
need to share my joy with others
feeling of happiness in my own skin

This is a small list.
I'm hoping one day to be able to put this experience down on paper so I can share it with others. I wish for everyone the pure joy I feel in my life.

I've got two:

Finally landed a full-time desk job after searching for years. (Nobody would give me a chance since all I had ever worked was part-time retail even though I had all the necessary computer, etc. skills to qualify me.) I've now been with the company for 2 years.

Being able to completely support myself even though I still live at home. That's only cause my job doesn't pay enough to afford an apartment around here but I am to be getting a second job soon. Despite that obstacle, I do not live off my parents at all & have never had to ask for help. I buy my own food, clothing, etc., I pay rent to cover my usage of water/electricity, & anything I own I've bought myself (including my car).

Being a top AR reader a few years back, for having the most points for Junior High for the whole parish. I got my picture in the paper, and $150 bucks!!!! My mom brags about, even when I don't want her too.

Learning to have confidence in myself! It took a long time ( as in trying to fill a cup with a slowly dripping tap), but I got there in the end and it has allowed me to enjoy my life fully. Even when I am low I know that I can get through it!
