Unless the sex was with me (yes, that is a disturbing image), then I'd think it wasn't any of my damned business.

He has physical needs. He also has emotional needs. There is no set time limit for the amount of grieving a person must do before moving on with their life.
I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. You will never forget her, but remember you must live. Isn't that what she would have wanted? Or would she rather have you and your step-dad sit in a quiet, dark house for several years, putting your own life on hold?

The only way to get through the grief of losing your Mom is to live a happy, productive life. Maybe you could join a grief support group to help you get through this hard time in your life. It took me a while to get through the grief of losing my own father, but life does go on. Grief will abate. Find something she enjoyed and start doing that, too. (Such needlepoint, sewing, painting, etc.)

Do the best to live your life in a way that would have made your mother proud. And don't judge others because they have different ways to cope.

Sorry, nothing you can do. I know it is hurts, but your dad having sex with someone dose not mean he did not love your mom or he is looking to replace her. You need to have a talk with him. A one night stand is different then love and a relationship.

Mind my own business.

I am sorry for you loss. However, she is dead and your step-father has every right (moral and ethical) to bed other women now. There is no set time limit for grieving. People move on...some faster than others.
