Simple...the department of vital statistics at the state where you got married. You can get a telephone number from directory assistance. If you can't locate the number, call the county court clerk's office where you obtained the initial license and ask them for the telephone number. It may cost a small fee (usually under $5), but it's no problem to replace it. Good Luck

Write the the Clerk of the Court for the county where you got married and request a certified copy. You should call ahead and find out the fee for a replacement license.

By all means you should have and was required to put a copy on record at the County Court House in the State where you were living and a resident, The person who performed the wedding should have put it on record for you. It usually cost about $2.00 dollars to get a copy

You can call the county clerks office where you were married. But, I've been married 11 years and have never been asked for it. I don't have a clue where it is.
