In case of emergency, use duct tape! It fixes everything.

drywall is very cheap- you can just cut a square out of the ceiling that is ruined and replace with new dry wall- you will need some putty stuff and some sealant tape - go to ur local hardware and tell them wh at ur trying to do they will help u get what u need for cheap

Good luck this recently happened where my upstairs toilet had a pipe burst and the first floor ceiling was ruined in a 4x4 spot... it sucks but better to gt it fixed

You can purchase drywall to replace what fell in, and finish it later. Nail and screw it in place for now, finish when you can. Depending on size of hole, a 4' X 8' sheet of drywall less than $10.00.

a leak in the roof isn't something you can fix cheaply only thing I can say is use a pot to catch the water and move to another room intill you can afford to replace your roof.
