Well, keep trying. Let them know you want to learn and would be a good asset to their company/restaurant. Someone will hire you.

Start a business where background and experience doesnt matter - all the training is provided forlife. Choose a a fully regulated company with 28 years track record. I recommend Forever Living Products - you can do as many or as few hours as you like and typically on 1-2 hours a day you will earn £1200 per month after 5 months and £30-£40k per year after 2-3 years - if you do more hours you should get more.

They are a $2 billion company growing at 25% per year and need a lot more people - no investment required also, regulated by Dti and Office of Fair trading and have investors in people award also.

Hi Im the same as you love and its annoying isnt it, I apply for jobs even if they say experiance, you can always say in you covering letter when you apply to the employer that you are willing to learn as its what you want to do. It all comes down to the interview as well and of course who you know in the company, 9/10 the people you will see working in these situations are related to the people who own the buisness, and its only by look if other people get in the buisness. You also have to have the gift of the gab and can just blag your way through the interview, some can do it want get jobs straight away others just fail endlessly like me and ive got expericance for the job I am applying for. If you show your willing to go into waitressing why not go to where you want to work in person and ask if they have any vacancys. Then they may take down your name and call you in the future.
You could even offer to work the weekends in a Pub waitressing as I know some pubs take on people at weekends to serve food and stuff so you might get into waitressing that way.

Just keep trying if this is really what you want to do.

Let me tell you a secret... I thought I'd never get a job, companies also said i needed expericence. So I politely said... It takes a employer to teach and a employee to learn.. Because no matter what skills you have they will always have a different way of doing what they think needs done. So tell them sure I may not have the skills needed now but I learn fast and you know how you want things done so lets try it your way... You teach and I'll learn. No matter what job you do you will always have something new to learn. Hope it helped .. :)

That was in the olden days. In today's job market, even if you have experience, you have to know somebody to geet your foot in the door. So, you want to be a waitress. What is your favorite restaurant? If you have a restaurant that you go to regularly, be friends with the people who work there. Once you make friends, then wait until a position opens up in that restaurant. Then your "friend" who happened to work at your favorite restaurant, will know that you are looking for work and referred you a position. Hoping that the manager is willing to train you. Good luck.

Try to become a volunteer in a hospital/nursery or such. This will strenghten your inter-personal skill base and enhance your chances when presenting your CV to a potential employer. The time you spend volunteering could be weekends/ evenings etc.
